Happy Monday

This is the first Happy Monday for 2012!

Yay.

This morning there was a busker outside of Melbourne Central station with a sign saying “Smile!” and most people did!

My boyfriend and I are considering moving to Brisbane for a couple of years. He’s been offered a job which would force him to relocate and because I don’t really have anything other than my family tying me to Melbourne, I’m quite keen to give it a go. Big change so we’re going through the motions of talking it through etc and working out whether we should do it or not. The upside is that change is usually good and if it doesn’t work out, we can both come back home. The downside is the money. We’re both trying to save for a house so if we do relocate, all that money will be spent on moving and renting.

My weekend was good. I went to my boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend’s birthday and she seemed to appreciate us being there. She had to cancel the original plans and make last minute plans and alot of her friends pulled out. We only stopped in for a drink as we were both still wrecked from the night before but it was fun and found a cool new bar to hang out in!

I bought new shoes from Target yesterday, were $40 and took them to the counter and they were $24! Bonus!

Starting back up at the gym this week, going to take part in the 8 week challenge again. Hopefully this time I won’t get sick and injured and can kick it’s ass!
