Priceline: Gift With Purchase

I’m fairly sure that Priceline is my Mecca. It’s the one store that I can always go into and always find something that I love, whether it’s shampoo, make up, vitamins, whatever.

On Wednesday night as I was heading home, I managed to grab a copy of the MX paper (free newspaper in Melbourne) and I noticed an ad for Priceline – Spend $60 and get a gift bag worth $220. Now me, being me, could not resist so yesterday I went in to purchase. I had planned to buy some Sukin shampoo, conditioner, facial cream cleanser and scrub (I’m doing this thing where I’m trying to double up my products so I can keep half permanently at my boyfriend’s place so I don’t have to cart so much stuff around). Unfortunately for me though, when I got in store, it specified I had to purchase from certain brands, which were: Max Factor, EcoTools, 1000 hours, Revlon, Manicare, Savvy by DB, Natio, Modelsprefer, Press & Go, Nude by Nature, Innoxia, Rimmel and Australis.

I had such trouble!

With my recent spending habits all crazy I didn’t want to purchase things that I didn’t really need, but then again, I didn’t want to miss out. I knew I’d be in Priceline eventually buying exorbitant amounts of stuff so figured I may as well get a “gift” with it. So finally I settle for one of the Nude by Nature kits which provide you with mineral foundation, blush, finishing veil, primer and a kabuki brush which was $59.95 (I actually wanted the other kit which is also the same price with way more stuff in it but they only had light and dark, no medium). Downside is that you had to spend $60 and all these brands had 20% off as well so had to buy more stuff! In the end I ended up with a Manicare eye lash curler as I’m not sure where my one has gone.

So I finally got my presents and this is what is inside:

This is what I received in my pack:

  • Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Blush (used it today… AMAZING!)
  • EcoTools Loofah in purple.
  • Innoxia Lipstick in Waterlilly
  • Manicare Soft touch Tweezers
  • Max Factor Experience Voluminising Mascara
  • Modelsprefer Bag
  • Modelsprefer Khol Pencil in Matte Black
  • Modelsprefer Multipurpose sponge
  • Natio Mineral Pressed Powder Compact
  • Nude by Nature Soft Focus Illuminator 50ml
  • Priceline Wipes, pack 25
  • Press & Go nails
  • Revlon Lipstick in Pink Sugar
  • Rimmel Nail Polish Strawberry Fizz
  • Savvy by DB Luxury Liner in Illuminating Indigo
  • 1000 Hours Nail Foils Kit

So it’s a pretty good haul. At first when I opened it I wasn’t too happy with the pink nail polish and two pink lipsticks. I wish that they had spread the colours around because I’m not a pink girl at all. But in saying that, I already own basically every Rimmel polish so I would have been annoyed with a double up and I quite like the Innoxia lipstick, it’s a shade of pink that actually suits me so hey, turned a negative into a positive.

It’s also very convenient because I went through everything last night, and it’s all going to the boyfriend’s place to live there permanently. I won’t have to cart around my massive make up and products bag all the time. It also makes it convenient because we live quite far away and so if it’s a last minute sleepover, it’s easier for me to go to his place after work without having to go back home as it saves me 45 minutes but this way, I won’t have that issue anymore.

Are you a sucker for a GWP?

  1. Ohh I’m terrible with a GWP, but they are hard to resist! Luckily everything I bought, I would have got even if they didn’t have the GWP.

I love the Waterlilly lipstick…such a gorgeous colour. XO

I think I would have gotten everything I bought regardless, but I may have waited til next pay if there was no GWP. I agree, the waterlily is such a nice colour, much nicer on than i anticipated!
